Congratulations to Hideki Matsuyama on winning the 2021 Masters!
On the final day of the Masters, playing partner Xander Schauffele praised Matsuyama, saying "Hideki was robot-like."
Matsuyama repeatedly executed shots accurately like a precision machine. Even in the high pressure situation of the final day of the majors, his shots never wavered, and he claimed the title of major champion. Let's try the highly reproducible Robot Swing!

I had been taking weekly lessons for many years at a golf school for adults and played golf once a month, but my score struggled to go below 120. I didn’t play much golf after stopping my lessons due to work. Then my friend recommended the Robot Swing to me. At first, I was uncomfortable, but I had the habit of rushing my swing, so the slow swing tempo of the Robot Swing helped to reduce my missed shots, and I managed to break 100!
The Robot Swing is definitely good for aim, so even if you mishit slightly, you are still sure to get near the green. I now round the course comfortably in the 90s.
I was a ski instructor, and I thought golf was easy when my husband taught me. But when I started playing, I realized how difficult it is. I don't really care about my score because I play golf for fun.
But I wanted my driver to go farther, and was I surprised when I tried the Robot Swing! My driver now hits about 200 yards. It made me realize that I had a Handsy swing.
The Robot Swing is good for direction so I get straight shots with my driver.
When I was about 30, I was able to round the course in the 70s, but then I got the short game yips and my scores fell to the 80s or 90s. I had been trying to cure my yips for more than 20 years, but they still affected me in important situations even when they seem to have been cured. I guess this was down to a subconscious desire to want to hit the ball.
I think that I’ve fixed my yips now that I focus on the sole of the club and swing the way taught in Robot Swing Golf.
Recently, I have been working on the Robot Swing, so I'm looking forward to playing golf with the 70s in my sights.
I was such a bad putter. My direction and distance were terrible. Sometimes in a good round, I thought that my putting had improved, but in the next round, things would be completely different – the ball would not go anywhere near the cup. When I practiced on a putting mat at home, it went just fine. I practiced the Robot Swing for my putting to control my ball speed. It took a while for me to learn and establish the sense of distance. My method involves adjusting how much I pull back the putter head on the backswing. Now I can control the ball speed and have reduced my 3-putts. I now average two putts on a round.
I got interested in golf because I saw female pro golfers on TV. My father said he would teach me how to play golf but I couldn't get myself to be taught by him because he has an awkward swing. I only learned how to grip the club from him, and when I found Robot Swing Golf on the Internet, I thought maybe I’ll try it out. I thought golf was about hitting the ball, so I really wondered if it was okay to remember the form of the swing like a dance? I had serious doubts!
Anyway, I remembered the form of the swing over a month. I was happily surprised to hit the ball on the driving range a month later. The ball flew true with the mini swing that I had practiced every day. It happened every time. In the second month, I was using the nine iron and hitting good shots quite normally. Maybe I should practice the driver next? I might be ready to hit the course in my third month.
I was already confident of my driver distance, but I happened to see Robot Swing Golf on the Internet. I thought it was a book for beginners, but I was interested to know more about Tiger Woods’ downswing, so I bought it.
As I read, I realized that it would be impossible to take in the Robot Swing into my swings as they are, but I think this book will be useful even for advanced golfers. In particular, I learned a lot about how to increase body torque and how to use both wrists to increase the stability of impact. I look up to Tiger Woods, so I hope that I can master his downswing by imitating the movements of the robot instructor.
Now my goals are a 300-yard drive and to par the course.

Gender, age, and physique don’t matter
The Robot Swing is a swing that is based on the center of gravity and the axis of rotation of the body, so differences in a golfer's gender, age, and physique do not matter. It's a swing method we recommend for older golfers and lady golfers.
The focus is on remembering the form of the swing so that you’ll always make a swing with a beautiful downswing in any situation. It might take some time to establish your stance for a good shot and your sense of the distance from the ball, but once you learn this, you will just keep hitting good shots.
But a round of golf is a different matter. Missed shots on the course are often due to differences in the sense of the distance from the ball and the stance. Because the form of the robot swing is fixed, you can practice it using this book to make sure you improve in a short time.
Never forget your swing
Do you ever feel like "How do I hit the ball?" after not golfing for a while?
The Robot Swing is a swing executed by a robot-like motion, so you may feel uncomfortable at first.
But, once you learn the form of the Robot Swing, you will not make a bad swing again.
Swing videos with commentary
Your purchase of the book comes with exclusive access to a dedicated list of swing commentary videos on YouTube.
The book and the videos combine to clearly explain the Robot Swing from address to finish, what to look out for on a course, and the ball flight laws.
In addition, the community-only playlists for swings and putting includes drills, and swing analysis and reports of other Robot Swing golfers, so it's a great resource for developing your swing.
Virtual robot instructor
Fashioned in the shape of a ball-jointed doll, virtual robot instructor "Figgy" teaches you the Robot Swing.
"Figgy" developed the swing based on Tiger Woods' downswing.
The joints, hips, chest, and other parts of "Figgy" are clearly shown so that you can easily grasp the orientation of the body part and understand the ideal body motion. It is a highly suitable way to master this simple, mechanical swing.
One swing for everything from driving to putting
In the past, golf swings were inside-out for draw balls and outside-in for fade balls, but now that we know about the new ball flight laws, we can hit a variety of different shots using a single swing trajectory. The Robot Swing uses the same swing for everything from short game shots to the irons, the fairway wood, drivers, bunker shots, and also putting.
Since you use the same swing for every shot, the more you golf, the more stable your swing will get. You will become a good golfer.
Fix the yips
Aren’t there many golfers who think they are mentally weak? Everyone will have experienced a missed shot due to tension in a nervy situation. On top of that, there are many golfers who are worried about the yips after repeatedly making mistakes in their short games.
The idea behind Robot Swing Golf is that the game of golf calls for intelligence, and that the swing is about being a robot.
On the golf course, see yourself as your avatar robot hitting the ball.
A robot has no emotions, so it will not make mistakes due to mental weakness. It won’t suffer from yips either.
Robot Swing Golf is packed with ideas to robotize yourself.
Improve your putting: Dramatically reduce 3-putt!
Only Robot Swing Golf can say a definite "No" to the view that "Putting is all down to instinct." Robot Swing Golf does not putt on instinct. Instead, only physical ball speed is used in putting. If you can control the speed of the ball in your putt in fine increments between 0.6m/s and 4.5m/s, you will definitely reduce your 3-putt.
Control the ball speed with a reasonable grasp of the condition, inclination, and grain of the green. Everything about putting with ball speed is in this book.
